International firm will invest USD 700 million in sustainable forest development in Paraguay

The international firm Astarte Capital Partners announced a historic investment of USD 700 million in Paraguay, aimed at sustainable forest development, carbon credit generation and regional economic reactivation.

The project includes the creation of 5,000 direct jobs and around 50,000 indirect jobs, boosting the growth of rural communities and strengthening the country’s forestry value chain. With this initiative, Paraguay reaffirms its position as a regional green investment hub, backed by modern legal frameworks regarding carbon credits and a firm commitment to environmental conservation and sustainable development.
